Purpose: KLHDC7B is a member of Kelch family, with a Kelch domain in the C-terminal half, which plays a role in various cellular events, such as cytoskeletal arrangement, protein degradation, gene expression. Although there is increasing evidence supporting KLHDC7B's vital role in tumorigenesis, a systematic analysis of KLHDC7B in cancers remains lacking. Therefore, we intended to investigate the prognostic value for KLHDC7B across 33 cancer types and explore its potential immunological function.

Epigenetic-targeted therapy has been increasingly applied in the treatment of cancers. Lysine (K)-specific demethylase 6B (KDM6B) is an epigenetic enzyme involved in the coordinated control between cellular intrinsic regulators and the tissue microenvironment whereas the pan-cancer analysis of KDM6B remains unavailable. The dual role of KDM6B in 33 cancers was investigated based on the GEO (Gene Expression Omnibus) and TCGA (The Cancer Genome Atlas) databases.

E2F transcription factors have been studied extensively in a broad range of organisms as major regulators of cell cycle, apoptosis, and differentiation. The E2F family includes the atypical member E2F7, which has been rarely studied in gliomas. The aim of this study is to determine the expression status of E2F7 in gliomas, its relationship to clinicopathological features, and patients' outcome.

In a Tween 80-(NH4)2S04-xylenol orange liquid-solid extraction system, absorption spectra of complexes of metal ions in extraction phase with xylenol orange as the extractant were investigated. Compared to xylenol orange spectra, the maximum wavelength of complexes of Cu(II), U(VI) and Ce(IV) shifted to the red by 20-30 nm, while that of La (III) did not. With different acidity, quantites of xylenol orange and salt, and surfactant, the efficiencies of Cu(II), La(III), U(VI) and Ce(IV) metal ions were discussed.
