Background: Previous studies have reported that roux-en Y gastric bypass surgery (RYGBS) can benefit patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). However, their conclusions are still inconsistent. Thus, this study will aim to assess the effect of RYGBS for patients with T2DM.
