The Chinese Guidelines for Ultrasound-guided Thermal Ablation of Thyroid Nodules (2024 edition) were jointly initiated by the Ultrasound Committee of Chinese Medical Association, the Interventional Ultrasound Committee of Chinese Association of Ultrasound in Medicine and Engineering, the Ultrasonic Intervention Committee of Chinese Colleges of Interventionalists, the Oncological Intervention Committee of Chinese Research Hospital Association, 37 multidisciplinary experts in interventional ultrasound, ultrasound medicine, endocrinology and thyroid surgery participated in the compilation of this guide, which expanded the depth and breadth of the perspective and enhanced the authority of the guide. Based on the systematic review of literatures related to ultrasound-guided thermal ablation of thyroid nodules and the professional opinions of experts, the guidelines define the indications and contraindications of thermal ablation, including pre-ablation evaluation and preparation, thermal ablation techniques and operational procedures, post-ablation follow-up, therapeutic effect evaluation, complications prevention and treatment, and the writing of medical documents for ablation. According to the Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation (GRADE), a total of 17 objective and comprehensive recommendations were given.

Methods: A review of the ultrasound and pathology databases yielded 10 cases with 13 skin and subcutaneous tissue lesions secondary to hematologic neoplasms, which were confirmed by pathology. We used ultrasound to assess the number, location, size, depth of involvement, echogenicity, and vascularity of the lesions.
Background: Interstitial lung disease (ILD) is a common complication of connective tissue disease (CTD) and a leading cause of morbidity and mortality. There are various lung ultrasound (LUS) scoring systems with different lung intercostal spaces (LIS). The purpose of this meta-analysis was to find a simplified LUS method for the assessment of CTD-ILD.

Furthermore, we wanted to determine whether this less invasive method could potentially be a pre-operative surgical strategy. One hundred sixty-four sentinel lymph nodes (SLNs) were detected by CEUS after intradermal injection of microbubbles in 126 cases.

Objective: The main purpose of the present study was to study expression of CRT of human osteosarcoma, and analyze the distinctions between normal and tumor tissues, pre- and post-chemotherapy patients, and metastatic and non-metastatic tumors in respect to this expression.
Methods: Immunofluorescent staining was used in order to investigate expression of CRT in diverse tissues.
The aim of the present study was to characterize and quantify the numbers and expression levels of cells markers associated with dendritic cell (DC) maturation in small airways in current smokers and non-smokers with or without chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Lung tissues from the following 32 patients were obtained during resection for lung cancer: Eight smokers with COPD, eight non-smokers with COPD, eight current smokers without COPD and eight non-smokers without COPD, serving as a control. The tissue sections were immunostained for cluster of differentiation (CD)83+ and CD1a+ to delineate mature and immature DCs, and chemokine receptor type 7 (CCR7+) to detect DC migratory ability.

Methods: The microbubbles of SonoVue were injected subcutaneously and intradermally into tumor side of areola. The images were observed to record the size, number, lymphatic door, aspect ratio, enhanced time and enhanced mode of SLN.
Garlic is generally used as a therapeutic reagent against various diseases, and numerous studies have indicated that garlic and its derivatives can reduce the risk of various types of human cancer. Diallyl trisulfide (DATS), a major member of garlic derivatives, could inhibit the cell proliferation by triggering either cell cycle arrest or apoptosis in a variety of cancer cell lines as shown in many studies. However, whether DATS has the same effect on human osteosarcoma cells remains unknown.
