Introduction And Importance: Femoral fractures are common in the patients with osteopetrosis and multiple treatment strategies have been described with varying results. However, there is a paucity of literature describing the treatment of recurrent fractures and subsequent deformity.

Case Presentation: We present detailed revision strategies and long-term follow-up results of a patient with osteopetrosis who suffered unsuccessful operative treatment using the plate-screw system (recurrent femoral shaft fracture and implant failure).
