Objective: The present study was conducted to explore the effect of neuroendoscopic hematoma evacuation in severe intraventricular hemorrhage (IVH).

Methods: Totally 81 patients with severe IVH in our hospital from November 2017 to March 2019 were divided into the intervention group (38 cases who received neuroendoscopic hematoma evacuation combined with intraventricular lavage) and the control group (40 cases who received trepanation drainage). The perioperative condition, hematoma clearance rate, Glasgow coma score (GCS), hematoma recurrence rate, and prognosis were observed and compared between the two groups after treatment.

Objective: The present meta-analysis was conducted to provide an update on the efficacy and safety profile of clazosentan with different doses in aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (aSAH).

Methods: We performed a comprehensive and electronic search updated to September 2018 of The Cochrane Library, Embase, and PubMed to identify relevant clinical trials. Trials of the effectiveness of clazosentan in treating cerebral vasospasm after aSAH were studied.

Gliomas are the most common type of malignant primary brain tumors in adults and exhibit a spectrum of aberrantly aggressive phenotypes. Despite advances in treatments during past decades, prognosis of the disease remains poor, with a median survival time of 12-14 months. Future studies on the molecular mechanism of the disease may provide the theoretical basis to identify new targets for effective therapies.

Glioblastoma is the most common primary malignancy of the adult central nervous system (CNS) and is associated with an exceptionally poor prognosis. Elucidation of the pathogenesis and molecular changes will help us to further understand the pathogenesis and progression of the disease and offer new therapeutic targets. FUS1 (TUSC2, tumor suppressor candidate 2) is a tumor-suppressor gene located on human chromosome 3p21.
