Background: The diagnosis and therapy during surgery depend largely on a full account of anatomic characteristics. Apart from regular structures, the common, less common or even uncommon anatomic variations are critical for procedural planning. This is especially true during craniocerebral microsurgery, where small vascular variations can affect the final surgical results and patient prognosis.

However, the reports on the function of BP1 in solid tumors are rare. The study was designed to determine the expression of BP1 gene in breast cancer and to analyze its relationship with various clinicopathological factors.

A new method was developed by flow-injection hydride-generation atomic absorption spectrometry (FI-HG-AAS) for direct determination of bismuth in bismuth pectin, which is mostly composed of pectin and bismuth and serves as one of pharmaceuticals for protecting stomach mucous membrane. The influences of some experimental parameters of this method, such as the acidity of sample solution, the reductant of KBH4 and NaOH that served as the stabilizer of KBH4, were studied and these parameters were optimized. Bismuth was detected directly with the linear range of 0.

The method involved the use of an amide type chiral stationary phase(CSP) made of (R)-1-naphthylglycine and 3,5-dinitrobenzoic acid known as the Chirex 3005 column. The effects of different contents of n-hexane, 1,2-dichloroethane and methanol in mobile phase on the chiral separation are discussed.
