The symptoms of gastric carcinoma are nonspecific and uncharacteristic especially during the pregnancy. Two cases of gastric carcinoma in pregnancy are reported. In both cases the diagnosis of the malignoma was not made in an early stage.

A significant increase in the average values of neutrophil peroxidase activity was found in all parturients as compared with the controls.
