Purpose: Restoration of endodontically treated premolars has always been considered as a challenging procedure. This study compared the fracture strength and mode of failure of root canal treated premolars reconstructed with various post and core systems.

Materials And Methods: Twenty healthy extracted premolars were selected and underwent root canal treatment and then randomly assigned into 4 groups ( = 5).

Purpose: To compare the bond strengths of three types of permanent silicone and acrylic resin soft liners to the denture-base acrylic resin by employing both synchronous and asynchronous processing methods and different surface treatments.

Materials And Methods: A total of 198 cylindrical samples were fabricated from denture-base acrylic resin and a 3-mm soft liner. Surface treatments of the samples were classified into five groups (n = 33 each): no treatment (control); erbium:yttrium-aluminum-garnet (Er:YAG) laser; grit-blasting with 150-μm particles; monomer application; and phosphoric acid application.

Background: Due to increasing demands for a full mouth implant reconstructions and the fact that the most failures are associated with biomechanical complications, determining the effect of different occlusal patterns on these complications seems inevitable. The aim of this study is to compare affection of different occlusal designs in full mouth implant reconstructed patients on electromyographic activity of temporal and masseter muscles compared to natural dentition.

Methods: Thirty-two patients were included in this study, considering that 16 patients had natural dentition and the other 16 were full mouth implant reconstruction patients.
