Background: Treatment options for aortic-iliac pathology may include endovascular repair and open surgical repair. Treatment options for degenerative disc disease (DDD) are varied but commonly include anterior reconstruction. When both the aortic-iliac and spinal pathologies are significant and surgical intervention is indicated for each pathology, the opportunity exists for concurrent treatment of both the aortic-iliac pathology and DDD in the same operation.

Biodiversity informatics plays a central enabling role in the research community's efforts to address scientific conservation and sustainability issues. Great strides have been made in the past decade establishing a framework for sharing data, where taxonomy and systematics has been perceived as the most prominent discipline involved. To some extent this is inevitable, given the use of species names as the pivot around which information is organised.

Purpose: To report a series of endoluminally repaired mycotic thoracic aneurysms.

Case Reports: Four patients with presumed mycotic aneurysms of the thoracic aorta were treated with endovascular grafts owing to overly high risk for open repair. All aneurysms were successfully excluded at the initial intervention.
