Benign Soft Tissue Lesions Responsible for Pain: When and How Should the IR Intervene.

In most of the cases Interventional Radiology techniques and therapies are proposed for the management of symptomatic soft tissue benign tumors responsible for pain and/or compression symptoms aiming to offer a curative intent by means of tumor necrosis with subsequent symptoms' management and improvement of life quality. The ablative therapies include chemical, thermal and non-thermal approaches while, trans-arterial (chemo)embolization also has a distinct role. Adjunct ancillary techniques should be performed whenever necessary to increase efficacy and safety and avoid or reduce complications.

Thirty-Days versus Longer Duration of Dual Antiplatelet Treatment after Percutaneous Coronary Interventions with Newer Drug-Eluting Stents: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis.

Abbreviation of the duration of dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) (one or three months) has been recently proposed, especially for high bleeding risk patients, after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) with drug-eluting stent (DES). Three databases were screened for eligible randomized control trials. The primary endpoint was the incidence of net adverse clinical events (NACE).
