Testicular toxicity in cisplatin-treated Wistar rats is mitigated by Daflon and associated with modulation of Nrf2/HO-1 and TLR4/NF-kB signaling.

Background: Testicular toxicity is a complication of cisplatin therapy and it limits its use. Since cisplatin-induced testicular damage is mediated by inflammation and oxidative stress, evaluation of the protective role of antioxidant and anti-inflammatory molecules such as micronized purified flavonoid fraction (Daflon®) is pertinent.

Aim: Therefore, this study investigated the mitigating effect of daflon against cisplatin-induced testicular toxicity.
