Introduction: Seborrheic dermatitis (SD) affects a large, diverse population and is associated with significant morbidity/burden.
Methods: The Harris Poll conducted online surveys to understand the perceptions, preferences, and experiences regarding treatments of US patients with SD and dermatology healthcare providers (HCPs) from December 2021 to January 2022.
Results: In this survey, patients using SD treatment invested on average 34 min/d treating SD with 5.
Leukocytosis, defined as an elevated white blood cell (WBC) count, can arise from physiological, infectious, neoplastic, or medication-related causes. While leukocytosis has been well-documented in conditions such as infections and malignancies, drug-induced leukocytosis is relatively rare, particularly in individuals undergoing gender transition therapies. Medroxyprogesterone, a progestin used in both fertility treatments and gender-affirming care, has been associated with hematologic changes, though its role in sustained leukocytosis remains underexplored.

Common complications include false passage, channel stenosis/difficult catheterization, channel incontinence, and stomal stenosis. This may result in the need for surgical revision or replacement.

We evaluated the diagnostic accuracy of hydronephrosis to screen for low kidney function defined by estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR).
Materials And Methods: We performed a retrospective cross-sectional study using data from 2 cohorts of children and youth with myelomeningocele.
The intricate neurofluid dynamics and balance is essential in preserving the structural and functional integrity of the brain. Key among these forces are: hemodynamics, such as heartbeat-driven arterial and venous blood flow, and hydrodynamics, such as cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) circulation. The delicate interplay between these dynamics is crucial for maintaining optimal homeostasis within the brain.

Methods: The Harris Poll conducted online surveys of US patients and healthcare providers (HCPs) from December 2021 to January 2022.
Results: Almost half of patients reported that SD negatively impacts their emotional and physical well-being "a lot/a great deal"; HCPs underestimate the level of impact on patients.
Objective: To obtain physicians' "real-world" perspectives on early experiences with triamcinolone acetonide suprachoroidal injection (SCS-TA) for treatment of patients with uveitic macular edema (UME).
Results: Twelve retina/uveitis specialists in the United States were surveyed about SCS-TA injection procedure and patient outcomes. Survey participants administered ≥ 291 SCS-TA injections to 243 patients with UME with various disease characteristics (etiologies, chronicity, and anatomical subtypes).
Background: End-of-life communication skills are vital to high-quality critical care. Patients and families often report deficiencies in end-of-life communication by providers. However, formalized training is difficult to implement and study on a large scale.

The authors introduce and discuss these concepts in this article, with a focus on clinical implications.

Methods: Semi-structured qualitative interviews were conducted between 2/2021 and 5/2021 with men ≥18 years of age with SB on perspectives on fertility potential and parenthood. Demographic and clinical characteristics were obtained from a survey and chart review.
Antibody-oligonucleotide conjugates are a promising class of therapeutics for extrahepatic delivery of small interfering ribonucleic acids (siRNAs). These conjugates can be optimized for improved delivery and mRNA knockdown (KD) through understanding of structure-activity relationships. In this study, we systematically examined factors including antibody isotype, siRNA chemistry, linkers, conjugation chemistry, PEGylation, and drug-to-antibody ratios (DARs) for their impact on bioconjugation, pharmacokinetics (PK), siRNA delivery, and bioactivity.

Despite an increasing number of studies on zebrafish enrichment, in-tank environmental enrichment remains unpopular among researchers. This is due to perceived concerns over health/hygiene when it comes to introducing enrichment into the tank, although actual evidence for this is sparse.

Materials And Methods: Clinical questionnaires administered to individuals ≥ 12 years old requiring catheterization between June 2019 to March 2020 in a spina bifida center were retrospectively analyzed. Questionnaires were completed in English or Spanish independently or with caregiver assistance.
Objective: To reveal barriers and opportunities to implement evidence for the management of pediatric kidney stone disease, we determined surgeon and institutional factors associated with preferences for the type of surgical intervention for kidney and ureteral stones.
Methods: We conducted a cross-sectional study of urologists participating in the Pediatric KIDney Stone Care Improvement Network (PKIDS) trial. Questionnaires ascertained strengths of urologists' preferences for types of surgery as well as characteristics of participating urologists and institutions.
Background: The topical phosphodiesterase 4 inhibitor roflumilast has been studied in several dermatologic conditions.
Objective: Roflumilast foam 0.3% is being investigated as a topical treatment for seborrheic dermatitis (SD).
Introduction/background: Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) is a fundamental shift in perioperative care that has consistently demonstrated an improved outcome for a wide variety of surgeries in adults but has only limited evidence in the pediatric population.
Objective: We aimed to assess the success with and barriers to implementation of ERAS in a prospective, multi-center study on patients undergoing complex lower urinary tract reconstruction.
Study Design: Centers were directed to implement an ERAS protocol using a multidisciplinary team and quality improvement methodologies.
Objective: To compare differences in bowel-specific quality of life (QOL), overall qQOL, and neurogenic bowel dysfunction (NBD) severity by bowel management program in patients with spina bifida (SB).
Methods: We performed a retrospective cross-sectional study of patients ≥12 years old at our multidisciplinary SB center who completed both a modified Peristeen NBD questionnaire (assessing bowel symptom severity and bowel-specific QOL) and the Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System Pediatric Global Health questionnaire (assessing overall QOL). Nested, multivariable models were fit for associations between outcomes and bowel management program (enemas, conservative management, and none).
