- The research included 64 patients who underwent either mini-open CTR (MOCTR) or endoscopic CTR (ECTR), with assessments performed before and six weeks post-surgery.
- Results showed that ECTR led to a decrease in median nerve CSA, while MOCTR led to an increase; both techniques improved patients' symptom severity and functional status, but ECTR had a more favorable effect on CSA.
