Transient global amnesia (TGA) is a syndrome characterized by anterograde amnesia with otherwise intact cognitive function, resolving within 24 h of onset, occurring in the absence of neurological changes. Recurrent episodes remain rare. We report an interesting case of recurrent episodes of TGA in a 63-year-old woman presenting with altered mental status.

Complications are superficial and minor, however obstruction in the setting of PEG migration has been noted. Most obstructions remain proximal, localized to the pyloric or pre-pyloric region, though distal migration to the large intestine, including the cecum, have been noted.

Background: In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, internal medicine residencies have had to develop new teaching strategies and attend to wellness concerns. Providing front-line care for patients in a time of widespread crisis while maintaining attention to training has created unprecedented challenges.
Objective: Our large community hospital based internal medicine residency sought to develop and evaluate a crisis response to the demands of the COVID-19 pandemic to meet our residents' educational and wellness needs.
Phosphorus is an element essential for life. Concerns regarding long-term security of supply and issues related to eutrophication of surface waters once released into the aquatic environment have led governments to consider and apply measures for reducing the use and discharge of phosphorus. Examples of source control include legislation to reduce phosphorus use in domestic detergents.

The transport of molecules from the cell cytoplasm to the nucleoplasm through the nuclear pore is a key pathway through which gene expression can be controlled in some conditions. It is presently unknown if mechanical stimuli can induce changes in nuclear pore expression and/or function.
