Mixed culture cultivation is well renowned for industrial applications due to its technological and economic benefits in bioprocess, food processing, and pharmaceutical industries. A mixed consortium encompasses to achieve growth in unsterile conditions, robustness to environmental stresses, perform difficult functions, show better substrate utilization, and increase productivity.
