Congenital duplication of the urethra with urethral diverticulum: a case report.

Duplication of the urethra is a rare congenital anomaly. Urethral duplication with the presence of diverticulum is a rare combination and to the best of our knowledge has  not been previously reported. We report a case of a 16 month old male child with duplication of the urethra and diverticulum arising from the ventral urethra.

Postpercutaneous nephrolithotomy bleeding: aetiology and management.

Purpose Of Review: Postpercutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) bleeding is the most dreaded complication following PCNL. In this article, we refer to risk factors contributing to post-PCNL bleeding and the criteria to decide the line of management in such cases. We further discuss the treatment algorithm for the management of the complication.

Role of multi-detector computed tomography (MDCT) in management of post percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) bleeding.

Objective: To evaluate the role of multidetector computerized tomography (MDCT) angiography in post percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) bleed and compare findings with conventional angiography (CA).

Material And Methods: We conducted a retrospective analysis of patients who had post PCNL bleeding and subsequently underwent a MDCT angiography followed by CA. We reviewed eight patients, who presented between January 2009 and January 2013.
