Background: Regulator of G protein signaling (RGS) proteins participate in tumor formation and metastasis by acting on the α-subunit of heterotrimeric G proteins. The specific effect of RGS, particularly , on the progression of gastric cancer (GC) is not yet clear.
Aim: To explore the role and underlying mechanisms of action of in GC development.
Background: Immunotherapy has achieved effective antitumor activity in advanced GC patients. However, the rate of response to ICI therapy is disappointing, T cell exhaustion may contribute to this phenomenon. EBI3 is an emerging immunosuppressive factor, and the association between EBI3 and T cell exhaustion is not clear.

We aimed to evaluate the efficacy of S-1 plus oxaliplatin (SOX) and capecitabine plus oxaliplatin (CAPOX) in patients with GC after laparoscopic gastrectomy.
Methods: A non-inferiority randomized controlled clinical trial was performed in China.
In order to reduce the mineralization of soil organic carbon (SOC) and enhance the ability of soil carbon sequestration. Mn-modified waste dander biochar (Mn-BC) was successfully prepared via impregnation and pyrolysis, and MnSO was formed on its surface. Mn-BC increases the carbon retention and reduces the emissions of CO and SO in way of forming CO, Mn-O-C bond and MnSO.

In this study, the regression equations of material removal rate and grinding force were obtained based on the theory of cortical bone grinding and full factorial test results, a multi-objective optimization based on the particle swarm algorithm was proposed for optimizing the grinding parameters: spindle speed, feed speed, and grinding depth in the grinding process.

Membrane lipid oxidation and local electric fields are two important factors in plasma-cell interactions, and the study of their synergistic effect is highly significant for optimizing the regulatory mechanism of the plasma-induced apoptosis of cancer cells. In this paper, a model of oxidized phospholipids was established, and the transmembrane process of reactive species was simulated by the classical molecular dynamics (MD) method under the conditions of oxidation and an electric field.

Failure of the esophagojejunal anastomosis can lead to significant morbidity, leading to short- and long-term quality of life (QoL) impairment or mortality. The optimal reconstruction method following MITG remains controversial.

The characterization results showed that the unstable carbon (C) structures as well as more conjugated structures were generated on Ca-BC, obtaining an increased C sequestration of Ca-BC to 21.70 %.

In this study, we aimed to investigate the roles of tumor cell-derived CCL2 on trastuzumab resistance and overcome the resistance by treatment with the anti-CD40-scFv-linked anti-HER2 (CD40 ×HER2) bispecific antibody (bsAb).
Methods: We measured the levels of CCL2 expression in HER2-positive GC tissues, and revealed biological functions of tumor cell-derived CCL2 on tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) and the trastuzumab resistance.
Studies have shown that LIM domain kinase 1 (LIMK1) is upregulated in a variety of tumors and may be a potential detection target. The present study analyzed the expression difference of LIMK1 and its relationship with tumor clinicopathological characteristics and tumor microenvironment in colorectal cancer (CRC). The transcriptomic data of LIMK1 with CRC were downloaded from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database and GEO databases for analyzing the expression of LIMK1 mRNA and the correlation with the prognosis of patients.

Based on previous experience, we propose a modified uncut Roux-en-Y anastomosis. This study aimed to compare the outcomes of different intracorporeal anastomoses after laparoscopic distal gastrectomy.

However, the stapler with titanium nails implanted is still controversial in terms of anastomotic complications, and further improvement and optimization are needed. The purpose of this study was to explore the optimal microtextured parameters that could enhance the bioactivity of titanium implants in vitro.

Methods: Gene expression and clinical data were downloaded from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA).
Emerging evidence has highlighted that immune and stromal cells form the majority of the tumour microenvironment (TME), which plays important roles in tumour progression. The present study aimed to screen vital prognostic genes associated with the TME in gastric cancer (GC). The ESTIMATE algorithm was applied to calculate TME-related scores, and the relationship between clinicopathological variables and these scores was analysed.

Adjuvant tyrosine kinase inhibitor therapy prolonged recurrence-free survival (RFS). This study aimed to develop a novel nomogram for predicting the RFS of patients following surgical resection of GISTs.

Studying preferential flow and its influencing factors in the ground fissures of dumps may provide basic scientific support for understanding the rapid movement of water and vegetation restoration and reconstruction in mining areas. Based on field surveys of ground fissures, three typical ground fissures were selected in the studied dump.

Microbial communities play pivotal roles in these ecosystems by responding to environmental changes through regulation of soil biogeochemical processes. However, little is known about the effect of elevated CO (eCO) and global warming on soil microbial communities, especially in semiarid zones.

Objective: To compare changes of hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal axis (HPAA) in different rat models of Gan stagnation (GS), Pi deficiency (PD), Gan stagnation Pi deficiency (GSPD) syndromes, and to observe interventional effect of Chaishu Sijun Decoction (CSD, capable of soothing Gan-qi invigorating Pi) on them.
Methods: Seventy Wistar rats were divided into the normal control group (group 1), the GS group (group 2), the PD group (group 3), the GSPD group (group 4), the GS intervention group (group 5), the PD intervention group (group 6), and the GSPD intervention group (group 7) according to random digit table, 10 in each group. Rats in group 1 received no treatment.

The purpose of this study was to explore the positive effects of Jian-Pi-Zhi-Dong Decoction (JPZDD) on Tourette syndrome (TS) by investigating the expression of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) and its type A receptor (GABAAR) in the striatum of a TS mice model. The model was induced by 3,3'-iminodipropionitrile (IDPN) treatment; then mice were divided into 4 groups (n=22, each); control and IDPN groups were gavaged with saline and the remaining 2 groups were gavaged with tiapride and JPZDD. We recorded the stereotypic behaviors of TS mice and measured the content of GABA in striatum by HPLC and GABAAR expression by immunohistochemistry and real-time PCR.
