Article Synopsis
  • The study investigates the prevalence of certain Mollicutes species (Mycoplasma genitalium, Mycoplasma hominis, Ureaplasma urealyticum, and Ureaplasma parvum) in adolescents aged 15-19, particularly among men who have sex with men (MSM) and transgender women (TGW).
  • Findings show a prevalence rate of 32.1%, with Ureaplasma urealyticum being the most common at 20.7%.
