Primary mucing-producing adenocarcinoma of the bladder is a rare, highly malignant tumor. It is classified as the third most frequent histologic type of bladder carcinoma characterized by a poor response to radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy. Only surgery seems to offer the best approach to this unusual cancer The authors report the pathological findings and the clinical course of a 45-years old man with a primary mucin-secreting adenocarcinoma of the bladder.
