Pheochromocytoma crisis, caused by a supra-physiological surge of catecholamine release, is an endocrine emergency that can present with various clinical manifestations. Acute pulmonary edema is one of the manifestations of pheochromocytoma crisis and can be either cardiogenic or non-cardiogenic.
