Long-term color stability of orthodontic adhesives after exposure to different staining agents.

Context: The aims of this study were (i) to evaluate the color stability of two orthodontic adhesives and (ii) to evaluate the color stability of enamel and ceramic brackets bonded with orthodontic adhesives after exposure to different staining agents.

Materials And Methods: Disks were prepared with two orthodontic adhesives (Transbond and Enlight). Color stability evaluation was performed with a spectrophotometer using CIELab parameters.

Orthodontic Treatment of Ankylosed Maxillary Incisor through Osteogenic Distraction and Simplified Biomechanics.

Ankylosed teeth may have a significant esthetic and functional impact especially at the anterior segment of the upper arch. Treatment of ankylosed teeth is challenging. The objective of this case report is to describe a clinical case in which an ankylosed tooth was treated with the use of osteogenic distraction associated with simplified orthodontic biomechanics.

Evaluation of the erosive capacity of children's beverages on primary teeth enamel: An study.

Background: The consumption of acidified beverages, associated with lower mineralization of primary enamel, is the ideal combination for the development and progression of dental erosion. The objective of this study is to analyze the erosive capacity and the surface roughness of primary teeth enamel after exposure to three different brands of grape juices.

Material And Methods: Forty enamel blocks of primary teeth were obtained, attened and polished.
