Clinical Epidemiology Features and Risk Factors for Acute Diarrhea Caused by Rotavirus A in Vietnamese Children.

Introduction: Acute diarrhea caused by group A rotavirus (RVA) is a leading cause of morbidity and mortality globally in children less than 5 years old. Acute diarrhea caused by RVA is often manifested by loose/watery stool leading to different degrees of dehydration. The detection of risk factors, diagnosis, and prompt treatment of acute diarrhea caused by RVA is critical.

Nutritional Status of Children Aged 12 to 36 Months in a Rural District of Hungyen Province, Vietnam.

Objective: To evaluate the nutritional status of children from 12 to 36 months of age in Kimdong, a rural district in Hungyen Province, Northern Vietnam, in 2017.

Subjects And Methods: A cross-sectional study was carried out on 327 children aged 12-36 months. The data collected included anthropometric measurement, serum hemoglobin (Hb), and vitamin D concentration.
