Resolvin D1 combined with exercise rehabilitation alleviates neurological injury in mice with intracranial hemorrhage via the BDNF/TrkB/PI3K/AKT pathway.

Resolvin D1 (RvD1) is an endogenous anti-inflammatory mediator that modulates the inflammatory response and promotes inflammation resolution. RvD1 has demonstrated neuroprotective effects in various central nervous system contexts; however, its role in the pathophysiological processes of intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) and the potential protective mechanisms when combined with exercise rehabilitation remain unclear. A mouse model of ICH was established using collagenase, and treatment with RvD1 combined with three weeks of exercise rehabilitation significantly improved neurological deficits, muscle strength, learning, and memory in ICH mice while reducing anxiety-like behavior.

Analysis of non-retinopathy of prematurity (ROP)-related fundus hemorrhage in preterm infants in China.

Objective: To determine the incidence of fundus hemorrhage (FH) not associated with retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) during ocular screening and report their clinical features, risk factors, therapies, and prognosis in a large population of premature newborns.

Methods: The medical records of all preterm newborns admitted to the Department of Ophthalmology, Peking University People's Hospital, Beijing, from January 1, 2016 through August 31, 2021 were retrospectively reviewed. Fundus examinations were carried out by experienced retinal experts.

Jiuniucao in Qizhou, known as "Qiai", was precious and expensive in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. [Comparison of chemical components between Artemisia stolonifera and Artemisia argyi using UPLC-Q-TOF-MS].

The chemical component information of samples was analyzed by ultra-performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry(UPLC-Q-TOF-MS). The leaves and flosses of Artemisia argyi and A. stolonifera from different places, were distinguished by principal component analysis(PCA) and orthogonal partial least squares discriminant analysis(OPLS-DA).

This study evaluated the effects of ultrasound treatment on walnut meal protein (WMP) extraction and techno-functional properties. The Box-Behnken Design (BBD) was adopted for the optimization of the traditional and ultrasound-assisted extraction (UAE) processes. Standard protocols were used to assay the techno-functional characteristics.

[Challenges and countermeasures of schistosomiasis elimination in Jiangxi Province].

Jiangxi Province was once one of schistosomiasis heavy endemic provinces in China. Thanks for more than 60 years' unremitting effort, great achievements have been obtained in schistosomiasis control in this province. This paper reviews the control history of schistosomiasis, and demonstrates the current epidemic situation of the disease in Jiangxi Province, and its contribution to national schistosomiasis control achievements.

[Experience and insights of schistosomiasis elimination in Yujiang County of Jiangxi Province-Commemoration of the 60th anniversary of publishing Chairman Mao Zedong's two poems"Farewell to the God of Plague"].

Schistosomiasis is one of the major infectious diseases that seriously endanger the health of people, and social and economic development. Before the year of 1949, Yujiang County of Jiangxi Province was one of hyper-endemic regions for schistosomiasis. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, under the leadership and high attention of the Chinese Communist Party and the government, after the arduous struggle with schistosomiasis, Yujiang County became the first county that reached the standard of eradication of schistosomiasis in 1958.

[Study on distribution status of , the intermediate host of in Jiangxi Province Ⅱ Spatial-temporal distribution of snail-infested environments].

Objective: To grasp the status of snail-infested environments in schistosomiasis endemic areas of Jiangxi Province, and establish the spatial database of snail-infested environments with the administrative village as the unit.

Methods: The spatial and temporal distributions of the historical snail environments, existing snail environments, and suspicious snail-infested environments were analyzed by the historical data review and field investigations.

Results: The distribution of snail-infested environments in Jiangxi Province included two popular types of lakeshore and hills.

[Role of new strategy in transmission control of schistosomiasis in Poyang Lake region].

Objective: To evaluate the role of new strategy in the transmission control of schistosomiasis in Poyang Lake region.

Methods: The information and epidemic data of schistosomiasis control were collected and analyzed in Poyang Lake region from 2005 to 2016.

Results: After eleven years of carrying out the new strategy, thirteen counties achieved the objective of transmission control in Poyang Lake region.

[Study on cut-off value of IHA method for schistosomiasis diagnosis in different endemic areas].

Objective: To explore the cut-off value of the indirect haemagglutination test (IHA) method for schistosomiasis japonica diagnosis in different endemic areas.

Methods: Totally 55 nature villages of the lake-type endemic counties, Yugan and Xinzi, in Poyang Lake Region of Jiangxi Province were chosen as the study fields, and all the villagers over 5 years old were parallelly examined by Kato-Katz method + miracidial hatching test and IHA method. The detection data were analyzed by the correlation analysis, and the threshold values of the IHA method in different endemic areas were decided by the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve.

Design and evaluation of a recombinant multi-epitope-based ELISA for the serological surveillance of HEV infection in northern China.

In this study, seven recombinant epitope peptides from within the ORF2 protein of the local genotype 4 swine hepatitis E virus (HEV) DQ strain were designed and analyzed. Then, a new multi-epitope-based ELISA was established. In comparison with a commercial kit, this test exhibited good specificity and sensitivity for anti-HEV genotype 4.

Objective: to describe and analyze the potential risk and suggest the corresponding control strategy in low endemic of schistosomiasis in China.

Methods: referring the 'national criteria of control and elimination of schistosomiasis' and the 'national criteria of classification of endemic area for chemotherapy'; collecting the data of the re-infection of schistosomiasis in lake region and residual snails in mountain areas and evolution of endemic situation in 'snail ridden areas without schistosomiasis'; analyzing the potential risk in different types of low endemic area and suggesting the control strategies according to the analysis results and historical experiment.

Results: the re-infection rate of schistosomiasis in residents is usually higher in high, medium and low endemic areas in the lake region, once chemotherapy is stopped, the infection rate may rise again to the initial level 2 years later and bovine chemotherapy and snail control in susceptible zone will be selected as the optimal strategies for controlling the endemic situation; the potential risk in mountain areas is the enlargement of snail habitats due to residual snail's reproduction and the control strategy will be to strengthen the surveillance and elimination of residual snails; inputting the infective sources of schistosomiasis is the potential risk in 'snail ridden area without schistosomiasis' and the main control strategy should be put the regular monitoring on the infection sources from hyper-endemic areas and treat the infected domestic animals in time.

Use of landsat TM satellite surveillance data to measure the impact of the 1998 flood on snail intermediate host dispersal in the lower Yangtze River Basin.

To assess the impact of the 1998 flood on snail distribution in the lower Yangtze River Basin, two study areas were selected, one in the Poyang Lake region, and the other along the Yangtze River in Jiangsu province. Using image analysis software, geocoded Landsat TM data were used to create TNDVI maps based on the formula TNDVI=Sqrt[(band4-band3/band4+band3)+0.5].

The role of health education for schistosomiasis control in heavy endemic area of Poyang Lake region, People's Republic of China.

For exploring the impact of health education for schistosomiasis control in a heavy endemic area of Poyang Lake region, China, the residents residing in the heavy endemic area were divide into three kinds of target population: pupils, adult women and adult men, and then targeted health education was implemented respectively among the three kinds of population after a baseline survey. The result were compared with that in the control group. The anti-schistosomiasis knowledge level among the three kinds of population improved significantly, the correct rate of attitude to examination and chemotherapy among pupils and adult men and the correct rate of anti-schistosomiasis value concept among women were raised greatly, obedience to examination and chemotherapy among adult men increased, the rate of infested water exposure and infection rate among pupils and adult women declined remarkably.
