Background: Proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) are effective treatments for acid-related disorders but may pose tumor risks with long-term use. Current research on PPI-associated tumor adverse events (TAEs) is limited and inconclusive. This study aims to comprehensively analyze the relationship between PPIs and TAEs.

To solve the problem of discontinuous data of GEDI footprints, this study mapped different echo indexes in the footprints to the surface by inverse distance weighted interpolation method, and verified the influence of different number of footprints on the interpolation results. Random forest algorithm was chosen to estimate the spruce-fir biomass combined with the parameters provided by GEDI and 138 spruce-fir sample plots in Shangri-La.

This study addresses the issue of Global Ecosystem Dynamics Investigation (GEDI) data discreteness and explores its potential in estimating chlorophyll content. This study used the empirical Bayesian Kriging regression prediction (EBKRP) method to obtain the continuous distribution of GEDI spot parameters in an unknown space.

This study developed a mitochondrial targeting strategy that combined PDT and gene therapy to promote each other and address the challenges.
Methods: The positively charged amphiphilic material triphenylphosphine-tocopherol polyethylene glycol succinate (TPP-TPGS, TPS) and the photosensitizer chloride e6 (Ce6) formed TPS@Ce6 nanoparticles (NPs) by hydrophobic interaction.
Previous studies on the relationship between dietary minerals and preeclampsia (PE) have given inconsistent results. The aim of this study was to further clarify the relationship between dietary minerals intake and PE in Chinese pregnant women. In this study, 440 pairs of hospital-based preeclamptic and healthy women were matched 1:1.

There is a wide range of high-quality oolong tea with diverse varieties of tea plants that are suitable for oolong tea production. The conventional method for identifying and confirming tea cultivars involves visual assessment.

BP-3 will eventually be discharged into the ocean. Studies shows BP-3 interferes with endocrine system of aquatic organisms, especially fish.

This study proposed a novel method for the prediction of major chemical components including total catechins, soluble sugar and caffeine using hyperspectral imaging technology and electrical properties. The multielement fusion information were used to establish quantitative prediction models.

However, few studies have assessed whether dietary intake and serum concentrations of VA and VE are correlated with PE risk.
Methods: A 1:1 matched case-control study was conducted to explore the association between the dietary intake and serum concentrations of VA and VE and the risk of PE in pregnant Chinese women.
Triphenyltin (TPT) is widely distributed on coastlines, which makes coral reef fish a potential target of TPT pollution. However, the negative effects of TPT on coral reef fish remain poorly understood. Therefore, in the present study, the larval coral reef fish Amphiprion ocellaris was used to investigate the developmental toxicities of TPT at environmentally relevant concentrations (0, 1, 10 and 100 ng/L).

We hypothesized that OCM-related nutrients are associated with PE. A 1:1 matched case-control study was conducted to explore the association between dietary OCM-related nutrients intake and the risk of PE in pregnant Chinese women.

Background: The effect of carotenoids on the risk of preeclampsia (PE) is uncertain. We aimed to examine the associations between the intake of dietary carotenoids and related compounds by pregnant women in China, and the risk of their developing PE.
Methods: Four hundred and forty PE cases and 440 age- (± 3 years), gestational age- (± 1 weeks) and gestational diabetes mellitus status- (yes/no) matched healthy controls were recruited from March 2016 to June 2019.
This study evaluated the association between inflammatory diets as measured by the Dietary Inflammatory index (DII), inflammation biomarkers and the development of preeclampsia among the Chinese population. We followed the reporting guidelines of the Strengthening the Reporting of Observational Studies in Epidemiology statement for observational studies. A total of 466 preeclampsia cases aged over 18 years were recruited between March 2016 and June 2019, and 466 healthy controls were 1:1 ratio matched by age (±3 years), week of gestation (±1 week) and gestational diabetes mellitus.

The rapid development of coastal aquaculture in recent decades has led to excessive discharge of organic matter and nutrients into surrounding waters, which could result in eutrophication and potentially affect metal cycling. In our study, the influence of algal organic matter on metal accumulation was examined in three coastal sediment cores taken from a tropical region, Hainan Island, China. Overall, metal pollution adjacent to aquaculture ponds remained at low levels on the coast, except Zn, Cd, and Sn were moderately to highly enriched in the Dongjiao sediments.

Although many studies have focused on mercury (Hg) contamination in this carbon-rich ecosystem, our understanding of the effects and mechanisms of the organic matter (OM) regulation of MeHg production in mangrove sediments is still limited. Here, we examined the effects of Hg contamination and OM enrichment on MeHg production in anoxic mangrove sediments and identified the major microbial guilds attending this process.

However, the mechanisms by which CCF are formed in tumor cells and CCF activation cGAS promotes breast cancer metastasis remain unclear. Here, we report that the enhancer of zeste homolog 2 (EZH2) can promote the formation of CCF and activate the cGAS-STING pathway to promote breast cancer metastasis.

Then, a periodic event-triggered optimal control algorithm is designed to interception target under a plug-n-play framework. To realize this algorithm, generalized fuzzy hyperbolic models are employed to construct the identifier-critic structure, where the online identifier is used to estimate unknown dynamics, meanwhile, the generalized fuzzy hyperbolic models-based critic network is utilized to approximate the cost function.
