[Application of stroke rehabilitation unit in municipal hospitals during the acute phase of cerebral infarction].

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of stroke rehabilitation unit in municipal hospitals during the acute phase of cerebral infarction.

Methods: 77 acute cerebral infarction patients were randomly assigned to stroke rehabilitation unit group and 73 to ordinary group. The NIH stroke scale (NIHSS), activities of daily living (ADL) Barthel index and average hospitalized time were compared in two groups before and after the treatment.
