Background: Innovations in imaging and molecular characterisation together with novel treatment options have improved outcomes in advanced prostate cancer. However, we still lack high-level evidence in many areas relevant to making management decisions in daily clinical practise. The 2022 Advanced Prostate Cancer Consensus Conference (APCCC 2022) addressed some questions in these areas to supplement guidelines that mostly are based on level 1 evidence.

Thus, the optimal management of APC patients during the COVID-19 pandemic is complex. In October 2021, during the Advanced Prostate Cancer Consensus Conference (APCCC) 2021, the 73 voting members of the panel members discussed and voted on 13 questions on this topic that could help clinicians make treatment choices during the pandemic.

Setting: State and local jurisdictions in the United States that reported ≥300 new HIV diagnoses in 2018 and were participating in the Ending the Epidemic Initiative.
Methods: The study surveyed health departments to collect data on the content and organization of APS and aggregate data on APS outcomes for 2019.
The European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA) and European Renal Association/European Dialysis and Transplantation Association (ERA/EDTA) jointly conducted a physician-based survey to gain insight into the management of atrial fibrillation (AF) in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and adherence to current European Society of Cardiology AF Guidelines in contemporary clinical practice. Physician-based survey conducted during an 8-week period using an internet-based questionnaire sent to all EHRA and ERA/EDTA members, with voluntary and anonymous responses. Among 306 physicians (160 EHRA and 146 ERA/EDTA members; 56 countries), a multidisciplinary team for management of AF-CKD patients was available to only 20/300 respondents (6.

In the majority of patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation (AF) anticoagulation is required to reduce the risk of stroke. Although vitamin K antagonists effectively reduce the risk of stroke, they have many disadvantages that limit their use. Rivaroxaban is a new once-daily oral anticoagulant that overcomes some of these limitations (i.
