Unlabelled: In this meta-analysis, we examine the advantages of invasive strategies for patients diagnosed with chronic coronary heart disease (CHD) and preserved left ventricular (LV) function, as well as those with significant LV systolic dysfunction (LV ejection fraction (EF) < 45%).
Material And Methods: We conducted a systematic search to identify all randomized trials directly comparing invasive strategies with optimal medical therapy (OMT) in patients diagnosed with chronic CHD. Data from these trials were pooled using a random-effects meta-analysis.
Aim Of The Study: The aim of this study was to perform a comparative analysis of severity of discordant aortic stenosis (AS) assessment using multiposition scanning and the standard apical window.
Materials And Methods: All patients ( = 104) underwent preoperative transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) and were ranked according to the degree of AS severity. The reproducibility feasibility of the right parasternal window (RPW) was 75.
Drunk driving is an important risk factor significantly contributing to traffic accidents and their associated lethality. This meta-analysis of observational studies aims to provide the estimates of drunk driving prevalence in non-lethally injured motor vehicle drivers in relation to the world region, blood alcohol concentration (BAC), and quality of the primary study. A systematic search for observational studies that examined the prevalence of drunk driving in injured drivers was performed, and 17 studies comprising 232,198 drivers were included in the pooled analysis.

View Article and Find Full Text PDFThe purpose of this work is to evaluate the quantitative parameters of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), particularly diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) and dynamic contrast enhancement (DCE) as well as positron-emission tomography, combined with computer tomography (PET/CT), with F-fluorodesoxyglucose, in the prediction of breast cancer molecular type. We studied the correlation between a set of parameters in the invasive ductal carcinoma of the breast, not otherwise specified (IDC-NOS) as it is the most common invasive breast tumor. The parameters were as follows: apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) in DWI, positive enhancement integral (PEI) in DCE, maximum standardized uptake value (SUVmax) in F-FDG PET/CT, tumor size, grade, and Ki-67 index, level of lymph node metastatic lesions.
