Sociodemographic Characteristics and the Influence of Religion on the Knowledge of Doctors, Nurses, and the General Population in Montenegro About Transplant and Organ Donation.

Objectives: The goal of our research was to determine the level of knowledge of healthcare workers and the general population about transplantation and organ donation through sociodemographic and religious aspects.

Materials And Methods: We conducted a cross-sectional study to provide insight on the knowledge of doctors, nurses, and the general population in Montenegro about organ transplantation and donation. We had 400 respondents (200 doctors and nurses and 200 people from the general population) who were surveyed and who signed informed consent to participate in the study.
