ZnO-Enhanced Reduced Graphene Oxide Electrodes from Cocoa Shell: Nanoarchitectonics Platform for Photoelectrocatalytic Detection of Methylene Blue.

In this study, we report the successful preparation of reduced graphene oxide modified zinc oxide (rGO-ZnO) composites from cocoa shells. Synthesis of rGO-ZnO was carried out using the Hummer method and thermal reduction. The electrode material was comprehensively characterized using fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and scanning electron microscopy & Energy Dispersive X-ray (SEM-EDX).

A scoping review of refugees' employment integration experience and outcomes in Canada.

Background: Refugees involuntarily arrive to Canada to escape unfavourable conditions in their home country. Employment is an important marker of integration and a foundational determinant of health yet; little is known about the employment integration experiences of refugees as a distinct group of workers in Canada.

Objective: This scoping review was completed to explore the employment experience and outcomes of refugees in Canada and to identify gaps in the literature.

Systematic Review of the Impact on Return to Work of Return-to-Work Coordinators.

Purpose We conducted a systematic review to understand the impact that return-to-work coordinators (RTWCs) have on return to work (RTW) outcomes for sick/injured workers. Methods MEDLINE, EMBASE, CINAHL, PsycINFO, Web of Science, and ABI Inform were searched from January 1, 2000 to September 16, 2020. Of 2,927 retrieved and screened citations, 14 quantitative articles fulfilled the eligibility and quality criteria.

Frontline treatment with the combination obinutuzumab ± chlorambucil for chronic lymphocytic leukemia outside clinical trials: Results of a multinational, multicenter study by ERIC and the Israeli CLL study group.

In recent years, considerable progress has been made in frontline therapy for elderly/physically unfit patients with CLL. The combination of obinutuzumab and chlorambucil (O-Clb) has been shown to prolong progression free survival (PFS, median PFS-31.5 months) and overall survival (OS) compared to chlorambucil alone.

Return to Work for Mental Ill-Health: A Scoping Review Exploring the Impact and Role of Return-to-Work Coordinators.

Purpose This scoping review was completed to explore the role and impact of having a return-to-work (RTW) coordinator when dealing with individuals with common mental ill-health conditions. Methods Peer reviewed articles published in English between 2000 and 2018 were considered. Our research team reviewed all articles to determine if an analytic focus on RTW coordinator and mental ill-health was present; consensus on inclusion was reached for all articles.

Successful management of acquired uterine arteriovenous malformation.

Uterine arteriovenous malformation (UAVM) is uncommon. They are usually acquired, due to previous intra uterine trauma. We report a case of acquired UAVM in a 28-years-old patient after a medical abortion, diagnosed with ultrasonography and successfully managed with uterine artery embolization.

Role of Computed tomography in predicting prognosis of Hepatic portal venous gas.

Background: The aim of this study was to report through 13 cases the particularities of abdominal computed tomography (CT) aspects of hepatic portal venous gas (HPVG) and its correlation with patient prognosis.

Methods: We analyzed abundance of HPVG and its association with pneumatosis intestinalis (PI) in correlation with fatal outcome using chi-square tests.

Results: Etiologies were mesenteric infarction (n=5), sigmoid diverticulitis (n= 1), septic shock (n=1), postoperative peritonitis (n=1), acute pancreatitis (n=1), iatrogenic cause (n=3) and idiopathic after a laparotomy (n=1).

Adsorption of a cationic surfactant by a magsorbent based on magnetic alginate beads.

Adsorption of cetylpyridinium chloride (CPC), a cationic surfactant, by magnetic alginate beads (MagAlgbeads) was investigated. The magnetic adsorbent (called magsorbent) was prepared by encapsulation of magnetic functionalized nanoparticles in an alginate gel. The influence on CPC adsorption of several parameters such as contact time, pH and initial surfactant concentration was studied.

Conservative treatment of a cervical twin pregnancy with uterine artery embolization.

Cervical pregnancy is a rare form of ectopic pregnancy. Its treatment has been described by different authors. We report our successful experience of a cervical twin pregnancy that was diagnosed by transabdominal and transvaginal ultrasound and confirmed by magnetic resonance imaging.

Technique and indications of elbow arthroscopy. A twelve-cases report.

Aim: Describe the technique of the elbow arthroscopy and discuss their indications through a series of 12 cases and a review of the literature.

Methods: We report a retrospective study of a short series of 12 cases of elbow arthroscopy performed on 4 years. The indications of this technique were loose bodies in 7 cases, parcellar displaced fracture of radial head in 3 cases, fracture of coronoid process in one case and osseous impingement in one case.

[Imaging features of Takayasu's arteritis].

Takayasu's arteritis is the most frequent inflammatory arteritis in young patients. It is characterized by the presence of giant cells and typically involves specific vascular sites: aorta and its main branches and pulmonary arteries. Inflammatory arterial involvements leads to stenosis, aneurysm, occlusion and arterial wall thickening.

[Hepatic epithelioid hemangioendothelioma: review of 3 cases].

Hepatic epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (EHE) is a rare neoplasm of vascular origin. EHE is an intermediate-grade malignancy, between benign hemangioma and angiosarcoma, with variable aggressiveness. Involvement often is multinodular simulating metastases from a primatry extra-hepatic malignancy leading to delays in diagnosis.

Extraskeletal Ewing sarcoma of the abdominal wall.

Ewing sarcoma is most commonly a bone tumour which has usually extended into the soft tissues at the time of diagnosis. Exceptionally, this tumour can have an extraskeletal origin. Clinical or imaging findings are non-specific and diagnosis is based on histology.

[Imaging features of xanthogranulomatous pyelonephritis].

Pseudotumoral xanthogranulomatous pyelonephritis is a rare chronic renal infection. Preoperative diagnosis is difficult because of its non-specific presentation. The purpose of this retrospective review of 8 cases is to assess the value of different imaging techniques in the evaluation of this pathology.

Comparison of second molar eruption patterns in patients with skeletal Class II and skeletal Class I malocclusions.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the altered flow dynamics of liver perfusion that can be observed during superior vena cava obstruction. Through the description of three case reports of patients with SVC obstruction, the authors discuss the different collateral pathways used that result in systemic portal venous shunting creating this altered flow dynamics and their appearance in computed tomography.

[Screw fixation without bone graft of calcaneal joint fractures: 35 cases].

Purpose Of The Study: The prognosis of calcaneal joint fractures is less favorable than fractures without joint involvement. Surgical treatment is frequently recommended. The type of fixation and the usefulness of a bone graft remain subjects of debate.

[Pituitary and ovarian mass syndrome in primary hypothyroidism].

Introduction: Hyperprolactinemia and a pituitary mass syndrome can occur in patient with primary hypoyhroidism. In young women, hypothyroidism can be associated with ovarian cysts.

Exegesis: We report a case of a 30 year-old women who was treated for an anemia.

[Acute pancreatitis due to a metallic foreign body].

We report a case of acute pancreatitis caused by a metallic foreign body located in the pancreatic head in a 38-Year-old woman. Only 15 cases of acute pancreatitis due to foreign bodies, metallic in five cases, have been published to date. In our case, diagnosis was established by the computed tomography scan.

[A patient with a diaphragmatic mass].

Cystic teratoma of the diaphragm is a rare, generally asymptomatic, disease. We report a case which was disclosed by the development of fever and pain in the left hypochondria. Imaging ruled out surgical emergency and led to the diagnosis, describing the relations of the tumor.
