Transfluthrin (TFL) is a rapid-acting pyrethroid insecticide, commonly used worldwide, however its overuse and or misuse has been associated with adverse effects on human health. This study was designed to investigate the impact of TFL on fertility and pregnancy in Sprague-Dawley rats exposed orally and by inhalation. In this study, 48 adult Sprague-Dawley rats of 6-8 months age group were randomly selected with equal numbers of males and females.

These can be avoided by early detection of the biochemical derangements and prompt intervention. Serum alpha-ketoglutarate (α-KG) and cord blood lactate have been found to be associated with birth asphyxia and may have potential to act as biomarkers for birth asphyxia.

Heart failure (HF) is a condition that can result in repeated hospitalizations every year and can result in worsening HF (WHF). Although current pharmacological treatment for HF is fairly effective, there is a need to lower the residual risk of cardiovascular events and hospitalizations. Vericiguat, a soluble guanylate cyclase (sGC) stimulator, a new entrant, seems to present a promising therapeutic option for HF with signs of worsening, and early initiation of this therapy may be beneficial in certain patient profiles.

Case sheets of all neonates born ≥34 weeks of gestation who satisfied the definition were analysed. The early feeding group was defined as those in whomh feeds were started <24 h and the late feeding group as those started ≥24 h of life.

Methods: We conducted a rapid literature review and searched five electronic databases weekly from 1 November 2021 to 30 September 2022. Studies that assessed the humoral or cellular immunity conferred by infection, vaccination or a hybrid (combination of both) in adults and risk groups (immunocompromised and older populations) were identified.
Introduction: Hypertension (HTN) remains one of the most important risk factors for cardiovascular (CV) diseases and a leading cause of mortality worldwide. Despite improvement in detection and treatment, poor blood pressure (BP) control rates are observed globally. The situation in India is alarming with only 22.

Bradycardia in CCHB can be misdiagnosed as foetal distress in utero and thus precipitating a Caesarean section. We report a case series of three neonates with bradycardia without any electrolyte abnormalities and structurally normal hearts with favourable outcomes.

Cholesterol levels early in life will influence the development of atherosclerosis. Young atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) patients (18-40 yrs) should receive lipid-lowering drugs to reduce LDL-C<55 mg.

Background: Persons with disabilities experience higher risks of mortality as well as poorer health as compared to the general population. The aim of this study is to estimate the correlations between functional difficulties across several domains in six countries.
Methods: National census data with questions on disability from six countries (Mauritius, Morocco, Senegal, Myanmar, Vietnam, and Uruguay) was used in this study.
Dyslipidemias are the most important coronary artery disease (CAD) risk factor. Proper management of dyslipidemia is crucial to control the epidemic of premature CAD in India. Cardiological Society of India strived to develop consensus-based guidelines for better lipid management for CAD prevention and treatment.

The present study sought to comprehend the prevalence, demographic traits, clinical traits, and treatment patterns in Indian patients with these coexisting conditions.
Methods: An electronic medical record (EMR)-based, retrospective, multicenter, cross-sectional study was conducted, and data were collected for patients who were diagnosed with coexistent hypertension, T2DM, and dyslipidemia.
This manuscript aims to critically evaluate the current evidence regarding adverse cardiovascular effects associated with proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD). It also provides guidance for the selection of the most appropriate PPI within the context of cardiovascular polypharmacy and emphasizes the importance of establishing consensus among clinicians on the need to prescribe PPIs with limited cytochrome P450 (CYP450) enzyme inhibition to reduce the risk of drug interactions. PPIs are among the most widely used drugs for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and the prevention of gastrointestinal (GI) bleeding.

These properties attracted the attention of material researchers that resulted in a large number of publications on EMI shielding in a short time and play a central role in addressing the problems and challenges faced in this modern era of electronics by electromagnetic interference. After the popularity of graphene, the community of material researchers investigated other two-dimensional materials like MXenes, hexagonal boron nitride, black phosphorous, transition metal dichalcogenides, and layered double hydroxides, to additionally enhance the EMI shielding response of materials.
