Introduction: Enfortumab vedotin (EV) is an antibody-drug conjugate combining a monoclonal antibody targeting nectin-4 with a highly potent microtubule disrupting agent. EV is expected to be a candidate for the third-line treatment for urothelial carcinoma previously treated with platinum-based chemotherapy and PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors. Very few cases of patients experienced hyperglycemia of unknown cause.

Repair of Tetralogy of Fallot With Absent Pulmonary Valve and Nonconfluent Left Pulmonary Artery.

Tetralogy of Fallot with absent pulmonary valve and a nonconfluent left pulmonary artery is an uncommon combination usually associated with respiratory distress due to tracheobronchial compression by the aneurysmally dilated right pulmonary artery. Although application of the conventional technique is not feasible for this subset of patients, our novel "spiral plication" technique, wherein both the anterior and posterior walls of the dilated right pulmonary artery are resected in a spindle shape and plicated as if it is squeezed spirally, provides effective release of the obstructed airway concomitant with reconstruction of the left pulmonary artery confluence with growth potential.

Meningitis with septic shock resulting from odontogenic infection misdiagnosed as closed-lock in temporomandibular disorder: A case report and literature review.

Rationale: Infections that spread to the pterygomandibular muscle can be misdiagnosed as temporomandibular disorder (TMD) because of the resulting difficulty in opening the mouth. Importantly, infection of the pterygomandibular space can extend to the skull base in the early stages, and a delay in therapeutic intervention can lead to severe complications.

Objective: This study evaluated the efficacy of the provisional extension to induce complete attachment (PETTICOAT) technique for type B and postoperative residual type B aortic dissections compared with the conventional thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR) technique.

Methods: In this retrospective study, we compared sequential aortic morphologic changes in consecutive patients with type B and postoperative residual type B aortic dissections treated with the PETTICOAT technique between January 2016 and December 2017 with patients treated with the conventional TEVAR between January 2013 and December 2015. Outcomes included aortic remodeling and aorta-related adverse events for 2 years postoperatively.
