This systematic review explores the multifaceted psychological impact of advertising on women's self-perception, examining traditional advertising, femvertising, and the emerging effects of digital transformation. By synthesizing evidence from 95 peer-reviewed studies, this review examines the relationship between media portrayals of women and key psychological outcomes, including body image, self-esteem, self-objectification, and gender role attitudes. Our analysis reveals that traditional advertising, which often features idealized and stereotypical portrayals of femininity, continues to be associated with negative psychological outcomes such as increased body dissatisfaction and self-objectification.

Existing conventional medical treatments are limited in their efficacy, prolonged disease may lead to bone destruction, joint deformity, and loss of related functions, which places a huge burden on RA patients and their families. For millennia, the use of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), exemplified by the Gui-Zhi-Shao-Yao-Zhi-Mu decoction (GZSYZM), has been demonstrated to offer distinct therapeutic advantages in the management of RA.

Umbilical cord blood (UCB) has emerged as a promising source with effective anti-aging roles. Here, we conducted a prospective, phase 2, single-arm trial of UCB infusion as an adjuvant consolidation therapy in elderly AML patients (ChiCTR-OPC-15006492).

Methods: In this retrospective study, 488 patients from four centers were enrolled and divided into training (n = 245), internal test (n = 105), and external test (n = 138) sets. Intratumoral and peritumoral models were constructed based on radiomics features extracted from the corresponding regions.
Surface discharge mechanism-induced cathode passivation is a critical challenge that blocks the full liberation of the ultrahigh theoretical energy density of Li-CO batteries. Herein, we propose a novel concept based on Hansen solubility parameters (HSPs) to guide the selection of solvents for inducing the dissolution of discharge products, facilitating the detachment of in situ-formed metastable LiCO from the electrode surface and enabling a continuous LiCO-dominated discharge process. Combining theoretical calculations with HSP predictions, we identified Pd-OCNTs as an ideal catalyst, with tetraethylene glycol dimethyl ether as the optimal solvent for LiCO production and stabilization.

Methods: We retrospectively enrolled patients with occlusion of the middle cerebral artery who underwent computed tomography (NCCT) and DECT angiography (DECTA). 70 keV virtual monoenergetic images (simulate conventional 120kVp CTA images) and iodine overlay maps (IOM) were reconstructed for analysis.
Family doctor teams, serving as health gatekeepers, are extensively advocated in China. Their composition, comprising a heterogeneous mix of professionals, contributes to a more comprehensive service, but also poses challenges. Consequently, scholarly interest has arisen in comprehending how these compositions, known as faultlines, influence team dynamics and outcomes.

A controllable desolvation process is essential for the formation of stable SEI and improved lithium metal deposition behavior. Here, we show a functional artificial interface protective layer comprised of chondroitin sulfate-reduced graphene oxide (CrG), on which polar functional groups are distributed to effectively reduce the energy barrier for desolvation of Li and effectively alienate solvent molecules to avoid solvent involvement in SEI formation, thus promoting the formation of a LiF-rich SEI.

To address this challenge, we engineered an OV containing targets for neuron-specific microRNA-124 and Granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF), significantly enhancing its neuronal safety while minimally compromising its replication capacity. Moreover, we identified PARP1 as an HSV-1 replication restriction factor using genome-wide CRISPR screening.

Herein, we designed a novel catalyst of atomic PtPd-layer shelled ultrasmall PdCu hollow nanoparticles (HPdCu NPs) on partially unzipped carbon nanotubes (PtPd@HPdCu/W-CNTs), which can achieve a high mass activity, 5 times that of the benchmark Pt/C, and show exceptional stability with negligible decay after 20,000 cycles of accelerated degradation test. The atomically thin PtPd shell serves as the primary active site for the HOR and a protective layer that prevents Cu leaching.

The simulation results were validated using fatty acid methyl, ethyl, and butyl esters. Fatty acid methyl ester demonstrated the lowest temperature increase and the highest load-bearing capacity post-shear.

Defects act as non-radiative recombination sites, accelerate the degradation process, reduce the efficiency of the device and weaken the stability of solar cell. In this work, to realize efficient and stable p-i-n wide bandgap solar cells under UV, a synergetic strategy utilizing UV light-absorbing passivator, (Trifluoroacetyl) benzotriazole (TFABI), enhance UV photostability and regulate the defect passivation is proposed.

Patients And Methods: Ninety-three patients with newly diagnosed multiple myeloma and 23 controls had undergone routine magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and diffusion-weighted MRI (DWI) from January 2019 to November 2020. Five bone marrow (BM) infiltration patterns were allocated according to routine MRI.
Rationale And Objectives: To develop and validate a T2-weighted magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)-based deep learning radiomics nomogram (DLRN) to differentiate between type I and type II epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC).
Materials And Methods: This multicenter study incorporated 437 patients from five centers, divided into training (n = 271), internal validation (n = 68), and external validation (n = 98) sets. The deep learning (DL) model was constructed using the largest orthogonal slices of the tumor area.
An abundant hollow nanostructure is crucial for fast Li and K diffusion paths and sufficient electrolyte penetration, which creates a highly conductive network for ionic and electronic transport. In this study, we successfully developed a molecular-bridge-linked, organic-inorganic hybrid interface that enables the preparation of in situ nitrogen-doped hollow carbon nanospheres. Moreover, the prepared HCNSs, with high nitrogen content of up to 10.

With the recent ongoing autumn/winter 2022 COVID-19 wave and the adjustment of public health control measures, there have been widespread SARS-CoV-2 infections in Chinese mainland. Here we have analyzed 369 viral genomes from recently diagnosed COVID-19 patients in Shanghai, identifying a large number of sublineages of the SARS-CoV-2 Omicron family. Phylogenetic analysis, coupled with contact history tracing, revealed simultaneous community transmission of two Omicron sublineages dominating the infections in some areas of China (BA.

Since cancer cell-derived exosomes are often mixed with those from healthy cells in liquid biopsy of tumour patients, accurately measuring the purity of tumour cell-derived exosomes is not only critical for the early detection but also essential for unbiased identification of diagnosis biomarkers. Here, we propose 'ExosomePurity', a tumour purity deconvolution model to estimate tumour purity in serum exosomes of cancer patients based on microribonucleic acid (miRNA)-Seq data.
