Malignant External Otitis in a Patient With Diabetes Mellitus: Comparison of Bone Scan SPECT/CT and 68Ga-Citrate PET/CT.

We reported a 66-year-old woman with malignant external otitis who was referred to our department for evaluation of disease extension. Both 99mTc-MDP bone SPECT/CT and 68Ga-citrate PET/CT were done for the patient. Both studies showed concordant areas of increased uptake in the petrous bone.

Lymphoscintigraphy in the Time of COVID-19: Effect of Molybdenum-99 Shortage on Feasibility of Sentinel Node Mapping.

In the current study, we reported our experience on sentinel node mapping of breast cancer patients during the extreme shortage of Mo99-Tc99m generators using Tc-99m phytate. During the period from March 7, 2019, to April 18, 2020, due to disruption of molybdenum supply chain, we used low specific activity Tc-99m pertechnetate elute (0.5-2 mCi of TcO in 5 mL) for each kit preparation.

Methods: A comprehensive literature search of PubMed/MEDLINE and Scopus databases was performed to retrieve pertinent articles published until August 5th 2018, concerning the prognostic significance of F-FDG-PET in patients with anal SCC.

Is sentinel node mapping possible in surgically removed ectopic axillary breast cancer? A case report.

We reported a 24-year-old female patient with the history of ectopic axillary breast cancer which was removed surgically. Sentinel node mapping was performed for lymphatic axillary staging of this patient with two injections of the 99m-Tc-phytate in both ends of the surgical scar. Lymphoscintigraphy showed an axillary sentinel node which was harvested during surgery and was not pathologically involved.

Methods: Medline, SCOPUS, and ISI Web of Knowledge were searched electronically with "Fragmented QRS" or "fQRS" as key words. All related studies that had evaluated the accuracy of fQRS for myocardial scar diagnosis were included.

Cancer of the testis is uncommon in young males. It can present in unusual ways. We are presenting a case of testicular cancer presenting as an epididymal lesion that was diagnosed after epididymectomy.

Granulocytic sarcoma of the rectum: a rare complication of myelodysplasia.

A 67 year old man with myelodysplasia was admitted as an emergency with a six week history of rectal bleeding and diarrhoea. Barium enema showed an irregular polypoid filling defect in the lateral wall of the proximal rectum near the rectosigmoid junction. Histology showed this to be a granulocytic sarcoma (extramedullary granulocytic leukaemia; chloroma) infiltrating the bowel.
