In the title compound, [Ni(C(16)H(8)N(2)O(4))(C(5)H(5)N)(3)]·C(5)H(5)N, the Ni(II) atom is six-coordinated by two O atoms and one N atom from the Schiff base ligand and by three N atoms from three pyridine mol-ecules, forming a distorted octa-hedral geometry.
