Most cases of AFC only require observation, while others may require more invasive techniques. Unfortunately, there are no drugs that effectively promote the absorption of AFCs.

Materials And Methods: This study included 105 and 27 patients in the training and test sets, respectively. Preoperative MRI, including intravoxel incoherent motion diffusion-weighted imaging (IVIM-DWI), was performed.
Solid frustrated Lewis pair (FLP) shows remarkable advantages in the activation of small molecules such as CO, owing to the strong orbital interactions between FLP sites and reactant molecules. However, most of the currently constructed FLP sites are randomly distributed and easily reunited on the surface of catalysts, resulting in a low utilization rate of FLP sites. Herein, atomic tungsten-based FLP (N···W FLP) sites are constructed for photocatalytic CO conversion through introducing W single-atoms into polymeric carbon nitride.

Phase engineering of nanomaterials is an intriguing approach for tuning the electronic structure toward regulating phase-dependent physicochemical properties. In this study, a metastable phase δ-MoC catalyst was elaborately synthesized via a boron doping strategy, which exhibited a phase transfer from hexagonal to cubic structure.

Regulating lithium salt dissociation kinetics by enhancing the interaction between inorganic fillers and lithium salts is vital for enhancing the ionic conductivity in solid-state composite polymer electrolytes (CPEs). However, the influence of fillers' external electronic environments on lithium salt dissociation dynamics remains unclear. Here, we design single-atom sites in metal-organic framework fillers for poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO)-based CPEs, boosting lithium salt dissociation through an electrocatalytic strategy.

This investigation evaluates potential links between serum concentrations of different or multiple vitamins and sarcopenia prevalence among adults in the United States.
Methods: Utilizing a cross-sectional design, this research draws from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) dataset of 2003-2006, encompassing 5,060 participants with comprehensive serum vitamin A, E, B9, B12, C, and D concentrations, alongside sarcopenia and covariate measurements.
Background: Video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) for a relatively large mediastinal tumor (5.0-10.0 cm) remains controversial.

However, it is less clear whether socioeconomic disadvantage has an immediate and lasting impact on the risk of admissions after the diagnosis of HF.
Methods: We used electronic health record data of patients aged 65 years and older with newly diagnosed HF between January 2015 and July 2018 in the Duke University Health System, with up to 8 years of follow-up.
The electron distribution of catalysts can be modulated by high-valence metal doping, thus enhancing the intrinsic activity. Herein, we adopt Ru modification to adjust the d-p orbital hybridization of Ni-Fe oxyhydroxides, significantly increasing the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) activity. The amorphous NiFeRuOH catalyst synthesized by sol-gel method exhibits excellent OER activity, far superior to commercial RuO.

Fe-based electrocatalysts are potential candidates for the anodic OER. In Fe-based materials, iron oxides always show better stability in alkaline solution but lower OER activity.

The results revealed that as the intensity of the positive EEF increased, the detonation performance of the FOX-7 molecule was significantly enhanced, while its thermal stability was also improved. This discovery challenges the traditional concept that explosives are inherently dangerous under external electric fields and provides new insights for research in related fields.

There is a lack of experience in the clinical features and surgical treatment of unilateral multilobar CLM. Therefore, this study aims to summarize the clinical characteristics and evaluate the safety and feasibility of thoracoscopic lung sparing resection in the treatment of unilateral multilobar CLM.

The implementation of Braun anastomosis following Billroth II anastomosis is common in distal gastrectomy. This retrospective cohort study evaluated the clinical utility of Braun anastomosis by comparing the outcomes and quality of life between Billroth II (B-II) and Billroth II with Braun (B-IIB) anastomosis in the treatment of gastric cancer.

Examples include the fused lasso regression, the matrix recovery under an unknown low rank, etc. Despite the ease of obtaining a point estimate via optimization, it is much more challenging to quantify their uncertainty.

However, they still face challenges, such as the shuttle effect of lithium polysulfides (LiPSs) and slow sulfur oxidation-reduction kinetics. In this work, heteroatom (P and S)-doped edge-type Fe single-atom catalytic materials (FeNS/P-DG) for sulfur reduction reactions (SRRs) and sulfur oxidation reactions in Li-S batteries are investigated using density functional theory calculations.
