Background: Women with disability face more stressors around the time of pregnancy than women without disability. Limited research exists on stressors experienced due to the COVID-19 pandemic among pregnant and postpartum women with and without disability.

Objective: Examine the association between disability status and experiencing certain COVID-19 stressors among women with a recent live birth.

Creatine Transporter Deficiency (CTD), an X-linked disorder caused by mutations in the SLC6A8 gene, disrupts Cr transport, leading to intellectual disability, speech delay, autism, epilepsy, and various non-neurological symptoms. In addition to neurological alterations, Creatine Transporter knockout (CrT) mice exhibit severe muscle atrophy and functional impairments.

The Trauma Coordinator in Italy: A National Survey on Knowledge, Attitude, Barriers, and Facilitators to Implementation of the Role.

Introduction: The management of patients with major trauma is complex and encompasses the entire clinical pathway. The trauma coordinator role has been introduced to enhance communication and coordination. Despite the clinical benefits of trauma coordinators, their implementation in Italy is currently limited.

Development of a nasal spray based on cyclodextrin/hydrophobically-modified hydroxypropyl-methyl cellulose for the prevention of viral respiratory infections.

The work aims to develop mucoadhesive and thermo-responsive in situ gelling systems, using hydrophobically-modified hydroxypropyl-methyl cellulose (Sangelose, SG) and beta-cyclodextrin (β-CD) derivatives, for preventing viral respiratory infections. Eight SG/CD systems with varying CD concentrations were evaluated for rheological properties, mucoadhesiveness, spreadability and sprayability via nasal devices; cytotoxicity was in vitro investigated on reconstituted nasal epithelia. Additionally, droplet size distribution and spray deposition were assessed for the most promising systems.
