Protective factors contributing to the health status of construction industry migrant workers in Chinese mainland.

Construction industry migrant workers (CIMWs) face high-intensity labor and harsh working environments, experiencing significant health issues. Studying these health issues can help to protect workers' rights, improve labor efficiency, and promote sustainable development in the construction industry. The objective of this study is to analyze the relationships among health status, social support, and marital adjustment in construction migrant workers.

Pretreatment of enzymatic hydrolysis lignin based on deep eutectic solvent containing a reversibly-soluble base.

The pretreatment with green deep eutectic solvents (DESs) is conducive to realizing the high-efficiency utilization of lignin at a low cost. In this study, an innovative choline chloride/urea/calcium hydroxide (ChCl/UR/Ca(OH)) DES containing a reversibly-soluble base Ca(OH) was developed for the pretreatment of enzymatic hydrolysis lignin (EHL). The lignin pretreatment effects of the proposed ChCl/UR/Ca(OH) DES were compare with a series of DESs.

NLRX1 is an important regulator of inflammatory signaling in innate immune cells. Recent studies indicate NLRX1 activation may be a novel mechanism for inflammatory diseases, however, it has not been explored in atopic dermatitis (AD). Our study aims to investigate the potential role of NLRX1 in the pathogenesis of AD.

Health-related quality of life and symptoms in patients with previously untreated, locally advanced or metastatic non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer treated with sintilimab or placebo plus pemetrexed and platinum (ORIENT-11): A randomized, double-blind, phase 3 trial.

Background: In the phase 3 ORIENT-11 study, sintilimab plus pemetrexed-platinum provided statistically significant longer overall survival and progression-free survival versus placebo plus pemetrexed-platinum as first-line treatment in patients with locally advanced or metastatic non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Here, we report the patient-reported outcomes (PRO) analysis findings in ORIENT-11.

Methods: PROs were measured using the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer Quality of Life of Cancer Patients Questionnaire Core 30 items (EORTC QLQ-C30) and the Lung Cancer Symptom Scale (LCSS) questionnaire.
