Background: School-based health centers (SBHCs) provide vital behavioral, sexual, and reproductive healthcare services to school-aged youth across the United States. Adolescents who are sexual and gender diverse (SGD) are far more likely to suffer from adverse health outcomes than their cisgender and heterosexual peers. Emerging structural competency frameworks call for cultivating capacities in SBHCs to modify organizational service delivery environments, including provider and staff knowledge and behaviors, to influence SGD adolescent well-being.

In the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), male engagement, social norms, and social networks mitigate family planning behavior. We discuss the adaptation of the Social Norms Exploration Tool (SNET), which identifies relevant social norms and community members upholding these norms, to inform the development of family planning interventions in the DRC. The SNET provides activity tools and templates to guide users through the following steps: (1) plan and prepare, (2) identify reference groups, (3) explore social norms, (4) analyze results, and (5) apply findings.

In spite of the great progress that has been made towards automating brain extraction in human magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), challenges remain in the automation of this task for mouse models of brain disorders. Researchers often resort to editing brain segmentation results manually when automated methods fail to produce accurate delineations. However, manual corrections can be labor-intensive and introduce interrater variability.
