Introduction: The COVID-19 pandemic has had a major impact on nursing staff, resulting in alarming turnover rates. As part of the Quebec (Canada) government's response to the pandemic, nurses have been offered exceptional financial incentives. Considering the cost of these measures, the current article presents the research protocol of a study aiming to explore the impact of financial incentives on full-time equivalent, and retention rates among the nursing staff in two healthcare settings in Quebec.

Introduction: Intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy (ICP) is a heterogeneous group of liver disorders with a high recurrence rate. Patients with a history of ICP are at risk of developing contraceptive-induced cholestasis, especially if they harbour a biliary transporter mutation. We report the first case of drug-induced cholestasis associated with a contraceptive vaginal ring (CVR) in a patient with a prior history of ICP.

Previous 2D and 3D models concluded that cell sorting requires cytoskeletal fluctuations and is stalled by high tension at heterotypic interfaces. New deterministic and stochastic models show that this is not true in 3D. Sorting in 3D involves both topological untangling and domain coalescence.
