Navigational channels and approaches to ports may have bends that constitute the specific sailing conditions for ships. A vessel's entrance into a bend and its safe passing depends on the ship's position accuracy, turn angle, and internal and external forces influencing the ships, as well as the captain's or pilot's experience. In order to assure a ship's safe navigation under specific conditions, the possibility to measure individual ship movement parameters with the use of special sensors is needed to accurately calculate the ship's trajectory considering the specific dimensions of ships.

[Study of the structural properties of recombinant gamma-interferon by circular dichroism and differential scanning microcalorimetry].

Recombinant human gamma-interferon is dimeric in solution at pH 7-4 as revealed by analytical gel-filtration. It was shown by circular dichroism that decreasing pH to 5.0 does not affect the secondary and tertiary structures of gamma-interferon macromolecule.

[An experimental study of human recombinant gamma interferon with a proteolytically reduced C-end area of the protein].

The work presents the results of experimental study of gamma interferon obtained by gene engineering techniques on the basis of Escherichia coli producer strains. The study has revealed that gamma interferon, whose molecular weight is 15 KD, due to intracellular proteolytic degradation shows the absence of some amino acids at the C-end of protein and is electrophoretically homogeneous, while its antiviral, antiproliferative and immunomodulating effects are less pronounced than those of gamma interferon with a molecular weight of 18 KD.
