Griffiths-like behavior and magnetocaloric properties of rare-earth silicide TbCoSi.

Novel rare-earth silicide, TbCoSicompound, crystallizes in LuCoGastructure, a distorted substitution variant of thestructure. The compound exhibits a complex magnetic state, with a ferromagnetic transition at 58 K, followed by successive antiferromagnetic transitions at 24 K and 8 K, respectively. Isothermal and magnetic hysteresis studies indicate the prominence of competing antiferro and ferromagnetic interactions in the compound.

Effect of ultra-mini percutaneous nephrolithotomy and ShuoTong ureteroscopy on the stress response, inflammatory indices, and urokinase level in patients with polycystic kidney disease complicated with renal calculus.

This study aimed to explore the effects of ultra-mini percutaneous nephrolithotomy (UMP) combined with ShuoTong ureteroscopy on the stress response, inflammation indicators and urokinase levels in patients with polycystic kidney disease and kidney stones. In this study, 42 patients with polycystic kidney disease and kidney stones diagnosed and treated in our hospital from February 2018 to February 2021 were selected as the research objects. They were randomly divided into the control group and the study group, with 21 cases in each group, and the control group adopted Ultra-mini percutaneous nephrolithotomy treatment; the study group was combined with ShuoTong ureteroscopy on the basis of the control group, and compared and analyzed the stress response, inflammation indexes, urokinase level, renal function, complications and stone clearance rate of the two groups of patients.

Management of Post Orthodontic White Spot Lesions Using Resin Infiltration and CPP-ACP Materials- A Clinical Study.

Objectives: The purpose of this present study was to assess and compare the effectiveness and durability of topical application of remineralizing agent Casein Phospho Peptide (CPP-ACP, Toothmousse, GC corporation, Germany, Europe) and Resin infiltration (ICON, DMG, Hamburg, Germany) in the management of post orthodontic white spot lesions.

Study Design: A Randomized Control clinical trial was conducted among 60 children who had undergone fixed orthodontic therapy presented with white spot lesions (WSLs) on maxillary or mandibular anteriors after debonding. Identification of WSLs was done with International Caries Detection and Assessment System (ICDAS II) criteria.

A cross-sectional study aimed to elucidate the prevalence of bovine trypanosomosis and its potential risk factors was conducted in tsetse suppression and non-suppression areas of South Omo Zone, Southern Ethiopia from November 2018- May 2019. A total of 1284 blood samples from local zebu cattle (642 each in dry and wet season) were examined by using buffy coat technique and thin blood smear method. The overall prevalence was 11.

: Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a multi-layered problem with a calamitous impact on humans, livestock, the environment, and the biosphere. Initiatives and action plan to preclude AMR remain poorly implemented in India.: This review highlights essential factors contributing to AMR, epidemiology of the resistant bacteria, current treatment options, economic impact, and regulatory efforts initiated by the Indian government to tackle AMR.
