Introduction: Cardiac lymphoma is a rare but serious disease that is usually located in the right heart. The symptoms (dyspnea, respiratory distress, fatigue, syncope…) are not specific and depend on the mass location. Cardiac magnetic resonance has a crucial role in the diagnostic strategy but biopsy is mandatory to confirm the diagnosis.

Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate the accuracy of the combined index E/Vp (peak E velocity combined with color M-mode color Doppler flow propagation) for estimating pulmonary capillary wedge pressure, in post cardiac surgery patients.

Study Design: Prospective clinical trial.

Patients And Methods: In post cardiac surgery patients (D1), we have measured with transthoracic echocardiography peak early E transmitral pulsed Doppler velocities and color M-mode Doppler flow propagation velocity (Vp).

Objective: To compare measurements of cardiac output using a new pulmonary artery catheter with those obtained using two "gold standard" methods: the periaortic transit time ultrasonic flow probe and the conventional pulmonary artery thermodilution.

Design: Prospective clinical trial.

Setting: Cardiac surgery operating room and surgical ICU in a university hospital.

Routine totally endoscopic, beating heart, coronary surgery should be made possible by the use of computer enhanced surgical techniques. It includes a totally endoscopic mammary artery harvesting, a correct exposure and an adequate stabilization of the coronary artery at the anastomotic site, a perfect anastomosis of the mammary artery on the left anterior descending coronary artery using a microsurgical suture technique. This complex surgical protocol will be reached by a step by step approach.
