Background: Patients with advanced chronic liver disease (ACLD) are at high risk of developing hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Therefore, biannual surveillance is recommended. This large-scale multicenter study aimed to stratify the risk of HCC development in ACLD.

In our previous randomised controlled trial (RCT), effects were positively associated with a dose-response pattern, regardless of whether PR contained conventional physical exercise training (PExT) or Singing for Lung Health (SLH) as a training modality within a 10 weeks' PR programme for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). However, long-term status of this RCT cohort remains unknown.

Objectives: This cohort study aimed to examine associations between flavonoid intake and COPD, asthma, and lung function.
Methods: Among 119,466 participants of the UK Biobank, median [interquartile range] age of 60 [53, 65] y, we estimated intakes of flavonoids, flavonoid-rich foods, and a flavodiet score from 24-h diet assessments.
As reimbursement from the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (PFS) continues to decline, cuts to practice expense relative value units disproportionately impact office-based interventionalists and private practices that rely on high-cost equipment. For 195 codes, specialties such as radiation oncology, vascular surgery, and interventional radiology are paid at rates less than their direct costs calculated by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services itself. While reimbursement in the office-based setting continues to decline, high-cost hospital settings receive more payment for the same services.
