Background: Social Deprivation Index (SDI) is a composite measurement of disadvantage in which higher SDI indicates worse social deprivation. Previous studies have suggested a relationship between pedestrian-vs-automobile (PVA) collisions and poverty among adults, but a similar association using state-level pediatric data has not previously been shown. We hypothesize that pediatric PVA collision incidence will differ with SDI and urbanicity across Ohio.

Response rate is lower in primary Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS). Since prolonged exposure to corticosteroids should be avoided, an effective alternative is required.

This study aimed to appraise the evidence for clinically relevant outcomes with FMT in patients with IBD using published SRMAs.
Methods: We searched major databases from inception through Nov 2023 to identify SRMAs assessing the effectiveness of FMT in patients with IBD.
The National Association of Emergency Medical Services Physicians (NAEMSP) advocates for Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to play an integral role in all phases of disaster management -preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery. An inherently strong EMS system mitigates some of the negative impacts of disaster by supporting a more resilient population and a robust response capability. EMS must be a sustainable resource that is able to continue to provide care to the community even after a disaster response.

Enzyme immobilization on polymer supports enables the fine-tuning of highly varied vicinal chemistries to improve enzyme performance by promoting correctly folded enzyme structure and adjusting the local microenvironment to more favorable conditions. Herein, we sought to investigate how multicomponent random copolymer brushes composed of monomers with anionic, cationic, neutral (zwitterionic, and mixed-charge), and aromatic properties stabilize covalently tethered lipase A from at low pH and high temperature.
