When performing lateral ligament reconstruction for CLAI, excision of a large OS can cause substantial lateral ligament defects making anatomic repair challenging. This study analyzed clinical and radiologic outcomes among patients who underwent osteosynthesis of the OS for chronic lateral ankle instability and a large OS.

Nonsense-mediated mRNA decay (NMD), a well-characterized RNA surveillance mechanism, degrades aberrant mRNAs with premature termination codons (PTCs) to prevent the synthesis of truncated proteins. While the role of NMD in cancer and developmental and genetic diseases is well documented, its implications in human aging remain largely unexplored.

Combining multiple vaccines into a single patch offers a novel solution to improve vaccine accessibility, stability, and delivery efficiency, particularly in resource-limited settings. : The five-in-one MN patch consists of four distinct microneedle arrays: DT and TT vaccines are coated together on one array, while wP, HepB, and Hib vaccines are coated separately on individual arrays.

Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 135 patients with chronic lateral ankle instability who underwent arthroscopic lateral ligament repair at 3 institutions between 2018 and 2020. The patients were divided into four groups according to the arthroscopic classification of the ATFL remnants.
