In cancer research, circulating tumor cells (CTCs) were identified as the main drivers of metastasis. They are vital for early detection and prevention of metastasis during cancer treatment. Even though continuous progress in research offers more and more tools to combat cancer, we still lack a proper arsenal of therapeutics.

To this end, different potential formulations are developed since the particle elasticity is affecting the in vitro and in vivo performance of the nanoparticles. Here we present a method to determine the elasticity of single gelatin nanoparticles (GNPs).

To improve this property, white spruce wood was treated with organosilanes sol-gel treatment with different moisture content (oven dried, air dried, and green wood).

Nevertheless, the principal compound in an IFR system, ammonium polyphosphate (APP), is highly sensitive to moisture and IFR coating effectiveness decreases quickly. The main objective of this study is to encapsulate APP in a hybrid silica-based membrane by sol-gel process using alkoxysilane tetraethoxysilane (TEOS) and methyltriethoxysilane (MTES) precursor.

In this paper, we provide a comprehensive (1)H NMR study of molecular mobility in dilute to highly concentrated dispersions of the exact same protein (casein) but organized in two distinct supramolecular forms: spongelike casein micelles or soft casein aggregates. Both relaxometry and diffusometry experiments were performed, so that three different parameters are reported: spin-spin relaxation rates of non-water protons (1/T(2,ne)), spin-spin relaxation rates of water protons (1/T(2,e+w)), and water self-diffusion coefficients (D(w)).
