Synthesis of novel spiroisoxazolidino hybrids of alantolactone and isoalantolactone via 1,3 dipolar nitrone cycloaddition and its antimicrobial Evaluation.

Alantolactone and isoalantolactone are two isomeric sesquiterpene lactones that were isolated from Innula recemosa. Here, we are used for the semisynthesis of novel isoxazolidine hybrids of alantolactone and isoalantolactone through a two-step process: nitrone synthesis followed by nitrone 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition. The formation of the cycloadduct was well characterized via modern spectroscopic techniques such as HRMS, H NMR, C NMR, DEPT-90, DEPT-135, and 2D NMR.

Klebsiella pneumoniae is a leading cause of anti-microbial resistance in healthcare-associated infections that have posed a severe threat to neonatal and wider community. Molecular modeling, synthesis and biological evaluation of caffeic acid based Dihydrofolate reductase inhibitors.

Dihydrofolate reductase (DHFR) is an enzyme that plays a crucial role in folate metabolism, which is essential for cell growth and division. DHFR has been identified as a molecular target for numerous diseases due to its significance in various biological processes. DHFR inhibitors can disrupt folate metabolism by inhibiting DHFR, leading to the inhibition of cell growth.

Fmoc-Pro-Phe-OMe dipeptide carbon sensor for simultaneous detection of chloramphenicol (CP) and furazolidone (FZ) toxic residues in food samples.

In this work, we fabricated the Fmoc-Pro-Phe-OMe modified carbon paste electrode (FPPO/MCPE) and used it for electrochemical detection of CP and FZ in a 0.1 M phosphate buffer solution (pH = 7). We characterized the Fmoc-Pro-Phe-OMe and applied it for the electrochemical detection of CP and FZ.
