Although alcohol septal ablation (ASA) is an established interventional treatment, mavacamten, a novel cardiac myosin inhibitor, has emerged as a noninvasive pharmacologic alternative. Understanding the comparative efficacy of these 2 treatments is important for optimizing patient care.
