Post-translational modifications (PTMs) are important for the stability and function of many therapeutic proteins and peptides. Current methods for studying and engineering PTM installing proteins often suffer from low-throughput experimental techniques. Here we describe a generalizable, workflow coupling cell-free protein synthesis (CFPS) with AlphaLISA for the rapid expression and testing of PTM installing proteins.

An efficient and operationally simple photochemical method has been demonstrated under transition metal-free, photocatalyst-free, and oxidant-free conditions. In recent times, diaryliodonium salts have become one of the most popular arylating sources under photoinduced conditions. Herein, we developed a visible light induced arylation of heterocycles using an EDA complex that is formed from 2,6-lutidine and diaryliodonium triflate.

Industrial dye degradation involves several processes by which dyes are broken down, ideally into innocuous products. Methylene blue (MB) is one of the most commonly employed dyes in the textile industry and is released into water in routine industry processes. These discharges lead to creating a nocuous nature for humans and animals.

Indolemethane derivatives are significant molecules in the study of -heterocyclic chemistry. Herein, we designed and developed a highly efficient green synthesis of indolemethane compounds using a recyclable biodegradable glycerol-based carbon solid acid catalyst under solvent-free conditions at room temperature for 5 min with excellent yields. The synthesized compounds were subjected to cytotoxic activity against prostate (DU145), hepatocellular carcinoma (HepG2), and melanoma (B16) cell lines.

Zinc oxide (ZnO) is one of the semiconductor materials with unique antimicrobial properties towards various microorganisms. In this article, pure and Na doped ZnO nanopowders were synthesized by easiest and cost-effective co-precipitation process. X-ray diffraction (XRD),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR), ultraviolet - visible (UV - Vis) spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy(SEM), and Energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDAX) techniques were used to characterize the particle size, surface morphology and chemical composition of prepared materials.
