Canine DM is a progressive, fatal neurodegenerative disease for which there exists a dearth of effective treatments, limiting clinicians to pursue symptom palliation. Clinical records of dogs referred for presumed DM to a specialty rehabilitation facility were screened for patients meeting study criteria.
